I am a licensed massage therapist and naturopathic physician. I have dedicated my practice to helping people in pain (fibromyalgia, tendonitis, neuritis, TMJ, carpel tunnel syndrome, post accident, post surgery). I have a gentle, but effective mixed style of therapeutic massage that can quickly release tight or spasming muscles. I also use microcurrent, naturopathic manipulation, range-of-motion stretches, exercise suggestions, hydrotherapy, homeopathic drainage (Unda), herbs, supplements, intravenous vitamins and minerals, and psychological counseling to bring the body back into balance. I have been teaching massage at the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) since 2000.
As a naturopathic doctor, I can take care of acute illnesses such as colds, flues and chronic problems like diabetes, malnutrition, food allergies, cancer, adrenal overload, etc. I am not considered a primary care physician as I do not wish to manage medications. Instead I treat people with diet, herbs, supplements, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, and physical therapies. I now refer out for PE’s, Gyn exams, and standard labs. However, I do continue to do non-standard labs like hair analysis, and nutritional testing through my office.
I will continue working with insurance companies if they cover alternative non-primary care services. It is up to patients to check with their insurance companies for naturopathic or alternative care coverage.
My massage and naturopathic clinic is in Oregon near Beaverton, Aloha, and Hillsboro. See Contact Me for directions.
