Definition
Homeopathic drainage is a process of detoxifying the body by opening the emunctories and discharging the toxic accumulation. Emunctories are our organs of excretion; i.e. liver, kidneys, lungs, stomach, intestines, pancreas, skin, nose, genitals. Toxic accumulation occurs from both external sources such as medications, pesticides, insecticides, and herbicides or internal sources such as stress and inadequate nutrition leading to metabolic dysfunction.

Brief History of Homeopathic drainage
The beginning of Unda or homeopathic drainage is accredited to Dr. Luis Reuter (a 4th generation descendant of Hahnemann) and Dr. Anthoine Nebel in Switzerland during the 1920’s and 1930’s. In 1937 George Discri published a book in Paris listing the formulas for 76 Unda remedies. Before World War II the remedies were made by a pharmacist in Harze, Belgium. After the war, in 1946, a lab was set up to make the remedies and later incorporated in 1949.
After Discri’s death in 1950, Mr. Pierre Beaumont, a retired lawyer, bought the company. Mr. Pierre Beaumont’s son, Jean Claude Beaumont joined the company in 1977 and, after his father died in 1989, became the major shareholder and president of Unda.
